Aug. 26: I was invited to the Sept. 14 screening of Ken Burns’ 10-part documentary series “The Vietnam War” at Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan. It will be followed by a discussion with filmmakers Burns and Lynn Novick moderated by Bob Woodruff. I was interviewed for another PBS documentary, “Legacies of War: Coming Home,” which premieres on Ch. 21 Sept. 4 at 10:30 p.m. and on Ch. 13 on Sept. 21 at 9:30 p.m. on Ch. 21.

Aug. 14: In the past two weeks, I’ve reached out to a bunch of actors, singers and TV stars who have supported veterans and also offered proposals to literary agencies for help in turning “Heroes to the End” into a six- to 10-episode Netflix series.
